Names of Pieces and Setup
Befor you play shogi, you have to set up 40 pieces. Please take a look at Fig.1. When shogi started, pieces must be set up like that. However, as long as you play on your PC, you don't have to mind it, because your PC sets up automatically.

At this moment, I'd like to introduce pieces of shogi. You don't have to memolize this table now, too. This is because I'll explain about pieces individually at next page.
